JOB TITLE:            SharePoint Sr. Developer

LOCATION:         Quantico, Virginia

REPORTS TO:      Program Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The SharePoint Developer/Applications Developer (Senior) serves as the SharePoint Specialist support person and provides general help desk support for web applications for Army CID CIMS. Work with end users to define business and technical requirements while implementing solutions following the software development life cycle. The SharePoint Developer (Senior) will provide guidance and support in SharePoint related tasks and assist with projects as defined by functional supervisor. The SharePoint Developer (Senior) should have competent knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 and its technologies: web parts, master pages, site collections, workspaces, document libraries, content types, taxonomy and lists as they relate to SharePoint and knows when and how to use them.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  2. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  3. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  4. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  5. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  6. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  7. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  8. Acts as team leader on projects.
  9. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
  10. Participates in development of software user manuals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SSBI.

·         Must meet DoD 8570-01.M IAT-II requirements: MCSE Certification

·         Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience in SharePoint Development; or the equivalent training and 5+ years’ experience.

·         A sense of mission and the independent maturity to accomplish given tasks.
