Army Program Management Support Services Three (PMSS3) Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Services (PEO EIS)

CHALLENGE

Support the Product Manager (PM) Defense Integration Business Systems (DIBS) Project Management Office (PMO), which includes GFEBS, ACWS, LMP, ATIS, and HQAES to ensure critical data across the US Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve is standardized, streamlined and shared with stakeholders to enable the bet resourcing decisions in real-time empowering leaders to consider the true cost of operations.

ACTIONS

  • Supported the Cloud GFEBS migration which was the first ERP to fully migrate to the cloud in July of 2020.
  • Perform Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR) support by actively sustaining the Army organic “System Integrator” capabilities to oversee, manage, and improve Army business systems, and ensure financial management processes are “translated” into SAP processes.
  • Monitor Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and create solutions to identify threats and improve the posture of the system.
  • Participate in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and conduct baseline analysis to offer improvements (e.g., product updates) to address program outcomes and requirements.
  • Catalog, prioritize and conduct change management activities required to support the business system upgrades and improvements across Federal systems. (GFEBS supports 35,000 users and has replaced more than 80 legacy systems for 37 different organizations and is operating at 227 locations in 71 countries)
  • Maintain over 2,000 change requests relating to patches, software vulnerabilities, system upgrades, user functionality, and all the other required changes to the GFEBS accounting system.

Case Study 2

CUSTOMER

Army Program Management Support Services Three (PMSS3) Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Services (PEO EIS)

CHALLENGE

Work directly with the program office Integrated Product Team (IPT) personnel and representatives on Security Assistance (SA), Cooperation Programs and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases (to include Foreign Governments) in order to generate solutions for Government review and approval.

ACTIONS

  • Develop, coordinate and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule to include actions required for each PEO EIS FMS case for Government review.
  • Travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations to interface with Country Program Managers on FMS requirements and acquisitions.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive plans, programs, special reports, briefings, analysis, and International Programs Division (IPD) documents.
  • Assist in market research, the build of the Bill of Materials, and identifying transportation methods utilized in IPD procurements.
  • Assist in the preparation of Acquisition Requirements Package (ARP) documents, which include, but are not limited to, Market Research, Performance Work Statements, Cost Estimates, Acquisition Strategies, Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL), and supporting documentation required from the contracting agencies.
  • Ensure configuration management and technical databases are established and accurate.
  • Support customs clearance documentation for equipment being shipped to foreign customers and identify program operational issues.

US Army Criminal Investigation Division Command (USACIDC)

CHALLENGE

Provide US Army Law Enforcement stakeholders the enhanced capability to rapidly and efficiently manage a variety of Law Enforcement and Criminal Intelligence (CrimIntel) functions.

ACTIONS

  • Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of existing Army Law Enforcement systems, and any new systems (hardware and software) introduced into the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Law Enforcement Advisory Portal (LEAP).
  • Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans and Assured Computing Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans to monitor, mitigate and report on the security posture of the entire Infrastructure.
  • Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy the Army Law Enforcement Reporting and Tracking System (ALERTS) application.
  • Provide a unified web-services portal for Communications and Systems Support, Tier 3 Help Desk Support, full life system development Automation Support in compliance with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) standards, and secure software vulnerabilities through Information Assurance.
